A fundamental principle of our Airport Hive product design was to create a stand-alone master data capability for the airport where all data is accessible using a RESTful API. It’s a completely independent microservice with its own datastore that can be used by any application that has been granted permission by the airport. It ensures one version of the truth across the whole stakeholder landscape when it comes to industry data such as IATA and ICAO codes. Also ensures all the airport resources such as stand, gates, desks, belt etc. are uniform across all the applications that are planning and executing operations in relation to them.
Maintain the highest quality of flight data for finance and operations. Flight data constantly changes, and it originates from multiple systems across different stakeholders. Users can take advantage of the Data Quality Management module to maintain the highest quality of flight data.
Every single data change within Airport Hive can be fully audited and accessible through RESTful APIs. The Auditing tool provides an intuitive user interface that empowers the airport to carry out their own rapid investigations into critical data changes. A quick search can reveal who, what, when and why the data was amended. This is especially useful when the data change has caused operational issues.
Manage securely how users and services interact with the individual Airport Hive microservices using authentication, authorisation and role-based access. Advanced capabilities include defining your own data entities and fully managing security and data access for your products. This means you can implement your own mobile apps and software applications on top of Airport Hive.
