Enhancing the Passenger Experience with Airport Hive and Appssenger

Mature businessman using a mobile phone while sitting in an airport cafe, waiting for his flight reading text message on his cell phone at first call lounge. This conveys the concept of increased passenger experience delivered by Airport Hive and Appssenger.

Azinq and Five Flames are delighted to reveal our new partnership to deliver Appssenger airport app as a fully integrated offering within Airport Hive. This will significantly improve how effectively an airport communicates with passengers and efficiently manage related operations, enhancing airport passenger experience throughout their journey.

The Appssenger Airport App enhances passenger experience by providing a platform that is both easy for passengers to understand and use. Integration with third party systems (parking, flights, restaurants), means passengers can scan their boarding pass to track their flight, book airport services, check the size of their luggage using augmented reality, easily find restaurants and shops during their stay at the airport, and take advantage of personalised coupons and vouchers for special prices. Features include a high resolution airport way-finding map with indoor location, push notifications, and personalised CMS for the management of the information displayed.

Airport Hive provides flight updates in real-time that match the flight information screens in the terminal, ensuring passengers can receive the information they need immediately.

An airport can dynamically customise the application content without having to launch new store versions. Managing the content allows to to communicate proactively with passengers, sending push notifications on demand and geolocalized to reach the right target. Alongside improving the airport passenger experience throughout their journey, operational and marketing teams can improve the airport’s ROI by using app information about passenger activity, such as application usage, CEM reports, tracking flights and favourite destinations.

‘Appssenger and Azinq have been working together closely for many years with our Airport Hive integrations to the Appsenger Mobile app. Our business ethics and technology decisions are aligned which enables us to deliver powerful solutions for our clients benefit. We look forward to continually improving our collaboration, growing our partnership stronger and delivering innovative products.’
